Great Album *****

By mikeb on 22 Jun. 2014

We saw this group in concert at Under The Bridge in Chelsea, I ordered the CD the next day. If you are an Incognito fan, this is for you. Great to hear Jim Mullen in this setting, his improvisation skills are impressive. Another quality album from Bluey.

Very smooth, very jazzy *****

By EveshamGlenn on 18 Aug. 2014

I only heard about Citrus Sun via a blog from Bluey of Incognito recently. Based on this, I bought the album and I must say, its absolutely fantastic!

The combination of the "Cog" influence coupled with the jazz guitar brilliance of Jim Mullen really does blend magnificently. Most of this album is instrumental- they're all very good, but I really like "Cooking with Walter", "Tonight We Dance", "As Night Falls" and "Yesterday Detroit" Another amazing album worth every penny & definitely well worth going to see live when they're next on tour!

As Good As It Gets *****

By N. J. Corless, 18 April 2014

Many years after the first Citrus Sun album (Another Time Another Place), this follow up continues in a similar jazz theme. The musicians involved are of the highest caliber and Bluey has another outlet to let his music pour out. The man is simply a genius.

The inclusion of Jim Mullen to the ranks is a huge added bonus.

This is a must buy for any fan of smooth jazz, jazz funk and even Brit funk, you get it all with this album.
